An audit brings that outside view: it describes the situation as it is, separates what works from what holds you back, and puts forward reasoned courses of action.

IQ 2.0 consolidated its consulting offer in 2015, around organisation, audit, change management and programme and project leadership. Our audits cover three subjects, which you can combine.
- Organisational audit: how roles are split between the business, IT and vendors, project governance, how teams work.
- Methods audit: project management, specification, testing and release practices, agile or otherwise.
- Technical audit: architecture, code quality and documentation of existing applications. When documentation is missing or no longer matches the code, reverse engineering reconstructs how an application actually works from its code.
You might call for one before a rebuild, when a new team takes over an application, when a project drifts off course, or to prepare a reorganisation.
What you get
An audit leads to a clear diagnostic, actionable recommendations and a roadmap to put them into practice. We present the audit report to your stakeholders, so that findings and recommendations are discussed before any decision is made.
We can then support you through implementation: steering the workstreams, change management with the teams, technical takeover of an application.
How we work
An audit follows the four stages of our method. Listening plays a central part: interviews with the people involved, reading the documentation and, for a technical audit, examining the code. Framing sets with you the scope of the audit, the questions it must answer and the success criteria. During delivery, we share findings with you as they emerge, without waiting for the final report. Support covers implementing the recommendations, if you entrust it to us.
A lead / consultant pair oversees every engagement. A monthly check-in brings your contacts and our consultants together, and we gather your feedback on the engagement.

Our audits draw on our consultants’ experience in project leadership, business-side ownership and development. For technical audits, that experience spans the Microsoft ecosystem IQ 2.0 grew out of and the technologies we work with today: TypeScript, React, Angular, Node.js, .NET, Java, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure or AWS.
